Any late entries (excluding Horse Section) DOUBLE entry fee will be applied
Horse Section: Entries can be taken on show day
Poultry Section: Wednesday afternoon 21 August
Marquee Entries: Thursday 22 August

Please note that the following are approximate times and are subject to alteration at the discretion of show officials

8.30am – Showfield open to the public

9.00am – Judging of horse section commences

10.00am – Judging of cattle section commences

10.00am – Craft and Food Produce Marquee open to the public

10.30am – Judging of sheep and poultry section
followed by judging of the Young Handler Competition (Cattle and Sheep)
followed by judging of Champion of Champions (Sheep)

12.00pm – Judging of Children’s Pet Competition

1.00pm – Goat Section judging

1.00pm – Produce marquee open to public

1.00pm – Shire Horse judging

2.00pm – Dog Show

2.00pm – Sheep Shearing Competitions

4.30pm – Presentation of Trophies in Marquee

5.00pm – Dog Races

Talybont and North Ceredigion Agricultural and Horticultural Society

On behalf of the Talybont Show Committee, it gives me great pleasure to present the 2018 schedule. As per usual, the show will be held on the Black Lion Fields, Talybont, and I am very grateful to Mr and Mrs Richards, Glanleri, Borth for their continued support.

The presidents this year are Mr and Mrs Evan Jenkins, Pengwern, Talybont, Mrs Jenkins has been competing at the show for many years in the produce tent and Mr Jenkins is the Chief Steward of the Vintage Section.

I would like to take this opportunity to remember Mrs Dilys Morgan, Alltgoch, Talybont who was Secretary of the produce tent for nineteen years and Mr Alun Jones, Llwynglas, Talybont who was a Cattle Steward for many years.

I wish to thank the committee members for all their hard work during the year to ensure a successful show.

I look forward to a successful show again this year and hope to see all of you on the 25th of August.
